Our Program One Child

About Yeimi came to us in March of 2009 with her 3 younger sisters. When Yeimi was 11, her mother, without telling their father, had taken her and her younger siblings to a children's home because she was unable to care for them. Yeimi graduated high school and became independent in 2014. Since that time, she has been diagnosed with kidney failure and has to get dialysis 3 times/week. Her treatment keeps her exhausted and makes it difficult to find and keep a job. Through the Redeemed program, we are helping her get the medical treatment she needs and evaluating potential jobs she can do from home. Her case is special because she is very willing, but very limited, in what she can do to earn a living.
